It's that classic time of the year when I just had enough of freezy mornings, ice on the streets and cold hands (my prerogative). I've been craving for flowers, pastels and of course SUN! Don't trust people who dislike the sun. Of course a couple days ago it was still snowing, there's no need to describe how inconvenient snow is. Spring's longer days makes me embroider more easily (of course for the light), but also awake my brain and let my body function better all over, but I digress.
Here's the new cicada patch! Remixed❀
This baby is embroidered on black felt and is embellished with vintage sequins, beads, shimmery thread and all that good stuff. Of course many pinks here and there (and you haven't seen my next patch yet!) and a touch of gold thread.❀
I used some fancy lenses for these macro and fisheye pics, totally recommend getting those!
So that was it, get ready for another insect very soon and very pink...
