Yesterday it was such a sunny day that we just had to pull over the car and stop for stroll by the lake. We discovered a library by the beach, such a dream!

❀❀❀ Teenage Discomfort (My Dear Diary) ❀❀❀

It's been a while since I started working on this patch, now it makes me really happy to see it completed. ❀ Check it out on Etsy!

I wanted to celebrate adolescence with a patch, in a wave of both nostalgia and cringe for those very confused years. What more appropriate than a secret diary, better if in a 90s plastic toy form!?❀

I used to have two of them, the first one was so technologic and functional that it made me idealize technology for all my teenage years. When it broke I replaced it with a simpler and a lot less interesting one that, nonetheless, served its purpose very well. Both were pink, of course!❀

This patch is a 3D object, it means that it can be enjoyed on both sides, you can attach it to the fabric by sewing around the bottom part of the patch, so that you can fold the cover over and close the diary. If you are brave you could add a snap button to keep it closed and, when the moment is right, surprise every 90's friend showing off the inside of the patch.❀

The patch measures about 3,5 x 4,5 inches / 9 x 11 cm.❀
